Talk to a rebate advisor

Phone or email are the only ways to reach us, and both get you a licensed advisor, not a call centre.

What to include in your email

  • Your city and type of home (house, townhouse, condo)
  • What heats your home now, and roughly how old it is
  • The upgrade you’re considering, if you know
  • Whether your household might be income-qualified
  • A photo of your furnace or water heater rating plate (optional, but it speeds things up)
  • The best phone number and time to reach you

What happens next

  1. A licensed CANRO advisor reviews your situation against every current BC program.
  2. We tell you which rebates fit, what they should pay and what must happen before installation.
  3. If you want, we provide a free estimate for qualifying equipment through CANRO Heating & Cooling.
  4. You apply for your rebate with our paperwork checklist.

Phone and email only, on purpose: no forms, no chatbots, no data collection. CANRO Rebates is a sub-brand of CANRO Heating & Cooling (canroheat.ca).

Contact questions

Why can I only contact CANRO Rebates by phone or email?
On purpose. Rebate questions are personal to your home, so we’d rather talk to you than collect form data. Phone and email go straight to the CANRO Heating & Cooling team, and nothing is stored by this website.
Is a rebate check really free?
Yes. Checking which BC rebates fit your home costs nothing and doesn’t commit you to anything. If you then want an installation quote, CANRO Heating & Cooling provides free estimates for replacing or installing heating equipment.
Can you apply for the rebate for me?
The homeowner has to submit their own rebate application, but we tell you exactly which documents you need, complete the contractor’s part (such as commissioning details and photos) when we install, and answer questions while you apply.
Do you help homeowners outside Metro Vancouver?
We install across Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, including Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, Coquitlam, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, New Westminster. Homeowners anywhere in BC are welcome to call or email with rebate questions.
What should I have ready when I call?
Your city, what heats your home today and roughly how old it is, the upgrade you’re considering, and whether your household might be income-qualified. A photo of the equipment’s rating plate helps if you email.
